Toxiscan provides ingredient analysis and safety insights for educational purposes. We do not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional for medical or dietary decisions.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code except as permitted by law.
• Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

5. User Content & Feedback

If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant Toxiscan a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use that feedback for any purpose without obligation to you.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including content, features, and trademarks, are owned by Toxiscan or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly set forth in these Terms.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features may require a paid subscription processed by third-party providers. Prices, taxes, and billing terms will be presented prior to purchase. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account.

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services. Toxiscan is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

You are responsible for complying with all applicable institutional policies and laws when recording, uploading, or sharing content.

Compliance with Institutional Policies

Ensure any recording or uploaded material aligns with the policies of your school, university, workplace, or instructor. It is your obligation to be familiar with and adhere to your institution's rules regarding the recording and sharing of lectures or educational content.

Respecting Copyright Law

Do not record or upload content protected by copyright unless you have explicit permission from the copyright holder. This includes texts, images, videos, or other copyrighted media.

Respect for Privacy and Confidentiality

Do not record or share sensitive conversations or information in violation of applicable privacy laws. This includes confidential communications, private discussions, or any other exchanges legally protected from unauthorized recording or disclosure.

Toxiscan does not condone and cannot be held liable for any unauthorized recording or uploading of content that violates institutional policies, copyright law, or privacy laws. You are fully responsible for ensuring your activities comply with all applicable requirements.

By using the Service, you agree to indemnify Toxiscan against any legal consequences resulting from unauthorized recording or distribution of material.

16. License to View Toxiscan Content

Subject to these Terms, Toxiscan grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-commercial, revocable, and non-transferable license to access and use content made available via the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

• You agree not to copy, record, or access content via automated means (e.g., scripts, bots, scraping tools) unless expressly authorized in writing by Toxiscan.
• If you purchase a subscription or license to access Toxiscan content, it is for individual use only and cannot be shared with others. We may enforce reasonable limits to prevent unauthorized use (e.g., device or access limits).

17. Refund Policy

1. Eligibility for Refunds: Refunds may be available if (a) you are within 30 days of purchase or renewal; (b) your subscription was not used excessively or in violation of these Terms; (c) technical issues caused by Toxiscan could not be resolved within a reasonable time after being reported; or (d) there were accidental or duplicate payments.
2. No Refunds for Inactive Accounts: Charges remain your responsibility if you do not cancel before renewal. Please manage your subscription settings in your account or app store.
3. Refund Request Process: Email support@toxiscan.app with the subject "Refund Request" and include your name, email, subscription plan, and reason. Our team will review and respond within 5–7 business days.
4. Pro-Rated Refunds: If you cancel during a billing cycle, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund based on unused days in the billing period.
5. Non-Refundable Cases: Requests after 30 days; promotional or discounted offers; monthly fees after the initial 30-day period; or accounts terminated for violations of these Terms.
6. Payment Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, it may take 7–14 business days for funds to appear.
7. Changes to this Policy: Toxiscan may modify or update this refund policy at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website.
